1. Tipo de Contrato / Type of Contract:
La clasificación es la siguiente / The classification is the following :

(1) Venta con entrega durante todo el año. Normalmente, tienen los términos acordados para todas las cuotas. / Sale with delivery during all the year. Normally, they have the terms agreed for all the quotas.
(2) Venta con compromiso de entrega superior a un año, con vigencia sujeta a renovación periódica por las partes. / Sale with commitment of delivery over a year, with duration depending to periodic renewal by the parts.
(3) Venta con compromiso de entrega superior a un año, donde se fija la mayoría de las condiciones dejando algunos términos comerciales bajo negociación periódica durante la vida del contrato. / Sale with commitment of delivery over a year, where the majority of the conditions are fixed leaving some commercial terms for periodic negotiation during the life of the contract .
(4) Venta ocasional. / Occasional Sale.

2. Cargo de Tratamiento / Treatment Charge (TC)
Corresponde al cargo por fundir los concentrados de cobre para obtener cobre blister. / Cost of smelting copper concentrates into blister copper.

3. Cargo de Refinación / Refining Charge (RC)
Corresponde al cargo por refinar el cobre blister para obtener cátodos de cobre refinado. / Cost of refining blister copper into copper cathodes.

4. Q/P
Período de preciación (Quotation Period), período que se toma como referencia para efectos de la valoración del producto. / Quotation Period, is the period taken as a reference in order to appraise the product.

En los contratos evergreen la relación contractual está siempre vigente, a diferencia de los contratos anuales que duran un período. / Evergreen contracts are always in force, meanwhile annual contracts last for only one period.

Los contratos de abastecimiento de largo plazo (más de un año), no necesariamente incorporan en el contrato inicial los Q/P; estos se establecen posteriormente. / Long-term supplies contract (more than one year), do not necessarily add Q/P to the initial contract; these are established lately.

Otra situación que genera desconocimiento inicial del Q/P a utilizar corresponde a los contratos que incorporan una cláusula de opción de fijar el Q/P durante el período de vigencia del contrato./ Another situation leading to an initial disregard of the Q/P to be used, corresponds to contracts which incorporate a clause with the option to fix Q/P during the contract duration period.
